Who we are
We are Car Rent Deals.
What we collect
When you use our website and services, we collect:
- Your name, email address and phone number.
- Your age.
- Whether you hold a valid driver's license and, if so, its type and country.
- Your pickup and return locations, dates and times.
- Your preferred vehicles.
- The type of payment card you hold (credit or debit). We do not collect or store full payment card numbers on this website; payments are made through third-party payment providers.
- For hotel bookings: the hotel, check-in and check-out dates, number of guests and rooms, and any special requests.
- Messages you exchange with us.
- Your account login email, if you create an account.
Details saved while you type
Once you enter a phone number, the details you have entered so far are saved even if you do not submit the form, so we can follow up on your request, including by WhatsApp.
Analytics and session recording
Only if you accept analytics (see our Cookie Policy), we collect: pages you view, clicks, device and browser data, your approximate location from your IP address, and session recordings. Form inputs are masked in session recordings.
Why we use it
We use your information to handle your inquiry, prepare quotes, make and manage reservations, contact you about your request by WhatsApp, email or phone, send reminders about your rental, improve the site, and comply with legal obligations. We send marketing messages only if you ticked the optional marketing box; you can withdraw this at any time by replying or by contacting us.
Who receives it
We share your information with the rental companies and hotels needed to make your reservation (your driver name and reservation details), and with service providers acting for us: Base44 (website hosting and database), PostHog, Pendo and Mixpanel (analytics, only with your consent), Resend (email delivery), our WhatsApp messaging provider, and payment providers. We do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Where it is processed
Your information is processed in the United States. If you are outside the US (for example in Israel), your information is transferred to and processed in the US.
You are not legally required to give us information, but we cannot handle a request without it.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, or withdraw your consent, by contacting us. California residents have rights under the California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA). Israeli residents have the right to review and correct personal information under the Privacy Protection Law.
Do Not Track / Global Privacy Control
If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as declining analytics.
Children
Our service is intended for adults and is not directed to anyone under 18.
Changes
We will post any updated policy on this page with a new effective date.
